ParaEd has a number of policies and terms and conditions that govern all users and website vistors.

By using the PARAED website you agree to the following terms and conditions.

  • As a website user, you will receive certain benefits, including but not limited to:
    • Access to register for PARAED webinars and events
    • Access to online learning content,
    • Access to an Account page and CPD tracker that will hold your details, online learning completed and other activities you undertake
  • You agree to PARAED communicating with you from time to time in relation to, but not limited to:
    • CPD tracker updates and reminders
    • Online learning opportunities
    • Webinars and events
    • Other related education offers and promotions from PARAED partners
  • You agree to the PARAED Privacy and Security Policy and Health and Safety Policy.

General Information

  • PARAED collects minimal personal information for the purposes of providing the PARAED service. PARAED is committed to protecting the privacy of personal information it collects, holds and administers.
  • PARAED recognises the essential right of individuals to have their information administered in ways which they would reasonably expect – protected on one hand, and made accessible to them on the other. These privacy values are reflected in and supported by our core values and philosophies.
  • PARAED is bound by the relevant jurisdictional Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) in addition to other relevant privacy laws, which impose specific obligations when it comes to handling information.

    • Ensure that stakeholders are informed as to why we collect the information and how we administer the information gathered.

PARAED will:

PARAED will:

  • Give members, subscribers and customers the option of not identifying themselves when completing evaluation forms or opinion surveys.

PARAED will:

At any PARAED event or activity, attendees and volunteers must:

  • take reasonable care for their own health and safety, and that of others;
  • comply with instructions about work health and safety;
  • promptly report any event related hazards, injuries and incidents, including near misses; and
  • co-operate with emergency procedures.

PARAED event or activity attendees and volunteers must:

  • Always conduct themselves in a respectful and courteous manner both in-person at events and online settings such as webinar chats;
  • Not engage in any behaviour that is abusive, threatening or discriminatory, or consistent with bullying, harassment, either in-person or in online settings.
